A strange city set at the foot of a mysterious plateau. Rumors from travelers suggest the locals pay vast troves of silver each year to appease whatever lies above the city. Adventurers from across the world have gone missing or wound up dead in an attempt to discover this treasure or simply make it to this supposed World of the Lost above. The few who have returned have oft been driven mad; their bodies sometimes twisted in reptilian horror, they mutter nonsense of "terrible lizards", "dead men that walk" and "mechanations of steel". Most peculiar.
